Maestro Americo's Vision
The vision of the "Koman Keneya" school is to create a better future through the power of medicinal plants and to help people improve themselves with ancestral knowledge of medicine.
The idea for the school stems from a current concern: we are increasingly losing the culture of our ancestors. Our teenagers and young adults in the communities no longer know the different medicinal plants used to treat various illnesses; they only have the idea of buying pharmaceutical medicines.
The school's purpose is to save our planet Earth by clearly reflecting the value of plants and thus keeping our culture alive.
It seeks to foster innovation, strengthen the global presence of plants, and better connect with its communities.
The school's objective is to invite and prepare interested teenagers and young adults and create real opportunities for those who need them most, both Shipibo and non-Shipibo.
