School of Traditional Medicine
A living school rooted in the Shipibo tradition of the Amazon. We offer authentic plant dieta, ceremonial healing, and deep immersion in ancestral knowledge — guided by a master healer of the lineage.
Begin Your JourneyThe vision of Koman Keneya is to create a better future through the power of medicinal plants and to help people improve themselves with ancestral knowledge of medicine. We are increasingly losing the culture of our ancestors.
The school seeks to foster innovation, strengthen the global presence of plants, and better connect with communities — inviting interested people from around the world to experience real healing opportunities within the Shipibo tradition.
Originally from the Roaboya Nativa community near Pucallpa, Peru, Americo López Sanchez is a dedicated Shipibo curandero (healer) whose traditional name translates to “the many colors of nature.” Inspired by the lineage of his father, a prominent healer, Americo overcame a challenging childhood to pursue his calling. His formal training began at age 15, leading to years of rigorous, isolated diets with Master Plants, Ayahuasca ceremonies, and deep spiritual trials. Today, he channels this profound resilience into helping those who are suffering, lost, or seeking a genuine cure.
As a former school teacher and eloquent storyteller, Americo blends his healing practice with a passion for education and community service. He works extensively with youth to preserve Shipibo culture and pass down his vast knowledge of medicinal plants. Driven by a lifelong commitment to growth, his mission is to revive ancestral education methods—using traditional diets and sacred songs—to help the natural gifts of the next generation shine.
